The MOTO RAZR xx is a part of the bestselling RAZR family and it shows. This version of the RAZR V3 has a lot more features than the previous versions, including high speed connectivity making downloading music and videos a breeze.
The new aluminum navy blue look is eyecatching and elegant, taking a lot of its form from the original RAZR.
High-speed connectivity
1.3 megapixel camera
65k colour external display
MP4 capture and playback
MP3 player
Hot swappable microSD
Stereo bluetooth supported
256k internal screen
The features on the xx are generally better than most of the V3 series, including the V3c, V3m and V3i.
The RAZR xx has an integrated 1.3MP and VGA camera, with a full view screen for taking pictures. Motorola has even improved the external display up to 65k colours (the original V3’s outside screen had 4k colours). The RAZR xx even has video calling, a feature which is not very common in the US at present.
Benq Siemens have launched 3 new mobile handsets; The SL91, E71 and E81

The SL91 is a super small stylish 3G slider with Force Sensitive Resistor (FSR) technology.
Beautifully styled with a glossy finish and curved shape this phone has alot of high end features in a tiny package.
This phone includes video-telephony, superfast data downloads or video/audio live streams, a 3.2 megapixel camera with autofocus and night mode as well as a large 2 inch QVGA display.
Release date: October 2006

Whist the E71 and E81 are not the most inspiring of phones when compared to their rivals, they both pack a punch for a devices so small.
The nicest feature of the E71 is the non-stick coating which means no more fingerprints.
The E71 is audio friendly, featuring an MP3 music player and FM radio, PC Sync and microSD support (up to 1 GB).
This phone also features a 1.3 megapixel camera with 5x zoom, EDGE, unlimited data transfer and has a large display.
Release date: September 2006

The E81 is a 3G UMTS phone capable of superfast data downloads, video/ audio streaming and video-telephony with the 1.3 megapixel camera
At only 99.8 x 46.7 x 16.7mm, this phone is small for the amount of functionality it contains.
Editor’s pick: We’d go for the SL91 anyday, the other 2 phones have no real reason to pick them (unless of course the contract deal you are being offered is great)
Release date: October 2006
Motorola have announced even more new phones (bringing the total to 7 in recent days). The 2 new phones are the MOTOFONE and MOTORAZR maxx.
The MOTOFONE is a low-end mass market phone with high-end styling.
Available in 2 flavours, the ‘Regular’ and the F3c.
Both versions feature;
ClearVision Display to give great contrast even when the sun is shining, local language voice prompts, extended battery life and a high volume for noisy environments.
As far as we can tell that are not that many differences between the 2 versions.
The only noticable differences between the MOTOFONE and the F3c version are the following:
MOTOFONE
GSM
Extended battery life
Notification prepaid balance
Embedded polyphonic ringtones (8 voices)
MOTOFONE F3c
CDMA
Embedded polyphonic ringtones (32 voices)
4GV audio codec (extra video compression - we think!)
With the RAZR hitting 50 million sales recently, this attempt by Motorola to keep the RAZR brand alive and it looks like they may well have done a good job.
Made stylish with a futuristic use of glass and metal and illuminating keyss (ala LG Chocolate), this is one of the smallest broadband phones available.
The MOTORAZR maxx includes HSPDA, 2 way video calling and OTA music downloads.
This phone also features microSD, Bluetooth and a 2 megapixel camera with 8x zoom.
Kind of like a factory edition ‘Pimp my RAZR’ really.
Expect this phone shortly.

A total of 4 new phones and some bluetooth headsets

Mp4 video record
Stereo Bluetooth
176×220 Screen
A while ago when the v3i had’nt been released, it was rumored that it was the 2nd RAZR, but now we see that the KRZR is the RAZR’s sucessor.
As you can see there are 2 versions of the phone, the blue and black, the black version has a few extra features on the front cover for mp3 controls, thee are no keys, almost like a touch screen feature.
The blue finish is absolutely svelte and it will definitely impress your friends.
Also, the CDMA version only has a 1.3 megapixel camera - which not really up to today’s standards

Personally, I dont really like it, it seems a bit too slim and narrow.
Despite its looks, the idea behind the Krzr is awesome, slim, narrow, simple, and very sophisticated.
The phone looks alot like the W220, I figure the design ideas were very similar and the KRZR was based on the W220.
Its size makes you believe there is nothing inside, but once opened the are many features that were not in the Razr, like the music player and full screen camera
Even though it has the traditional MOTO OS, you can customize it with p2k tools.
Formerly the Capri
Music player
2 megapixel camera
Mp4 video record
Stereo bluetooth
176×220 Screen
Same features as the KRZR
This phone is absolutely awsome.
The design is flawless, an excellent slider, one that will definitely impress your friends.
This phone is a bit wider than the KRZR, which I think is a plus, because it offers more room to manuever while texting
Its awsome slide is beautiful, It’s so Razr-like which is what people would expect from Motorola, after the hugely popular RAZR.
This phones music player features many formats as, mp3, acc, acc+, and acc+ enhanced, these audio formats make it possible to store much more music at a lower bit-rate without sacrificing sound quality!

This slvr is obviously made for CDMA users.
It has everything the original Slvr had and EV-DO.
These bluetooth headsets were designed to match the KRZR and RIZR

Samsung has just released their new E500 Versus, the spa enhanced phone

1.3 mega pixel camera
MP3 player which supports mp3/acc/acc+
80 MB internal memory
1.76 inch (176 x 220) 262k color screen
Its hideous, why would Samsung even try to put out a phone this ugly ?
I cant believe it, white and tan? That only matches when your dealing with clothes, not phones.
Phones are technology, technology has a stereotypical color! Silver, black and only a hand full of other colors work such as; red (includes pink), blue and usually for fashion phones vibrant colors.
To sum it up these phones will hit the market and are unlikely to worry the competition, as it’s main target demographic includes fashion victims, Italians (its styled by Versace) and maybe to a few cell phone collectors.
I understand that there should be the mid-range type of cellphone, but who would want a 1.76 inch screen? I’d be appalled.
Some features on the phone include pluses like the mp3 player and camera with video record, these are about the best features of the phone, oh yeah and the 80 megabytes of internal memory which is plenty of room to store pictures, videos and some tunes.
I think this phone is targeted towards someone who wants a casual cell phone who does not care about having the best phone or not.
But honestly samsung, come on who approved this phone ? seriously.
Update - The Nokia N95 has now been officially launched. Check the real specs (we were close i think)
After doing some searching on the web I found these pictures of the rumored Nokia N95.
One site has called it the N83 but for us, its the N95.
Although, there is no official word yet from Nokia, phone freaks everywhere have there secret ways of getting leaked photos, so here are a few spy shots of the phone believed to be the N95 for your viewing pleasure.
This phone should do great once released. For phone freaks like me its almost a dream come true. Big beautiful screen with lots of pixels, also the cool double sliding feature.
Another bonus is the mp3 player which is a plus for anyone who doesnt want to buy a simple ipod, which are boring!
Phones aren’t phones nowadays, and this phone is a great example, with the little information that has been leaked, I have been able to conjure up an opinion.
One thing I love on phones are speakers, there is no specified information on how many speakers there are on this phone but sit tight you fellow audiophiles.
Also, for you photographers, Nokia’s cellphone cameras are always excellent, and with the Carl Ziess Optics, its definitely a huge plus. Hopefully, there are stereo speakers as featured in the N73

Motorola announced today that it has sold 50 million V3 Razr handsets across the world.
The V3 which launched in November 2004 in Hong Kong, has become a icon around the globe because of its super sleek design (under 13.9mm thick) and good looks.
Motorola have modelled their other phones around the Razrs success like the Slvr and Qâ„¢
The Razr has been available in lots flavours to date including; silver, black, 3 varieties of pink, gold & silver and magenta (T-Mobile).
Award winning and popular with celebrities and the media, there’s bound to be a Razr 2 (K1 - canary), though whether the sequel is as popular is anyones guess.
At some point the razr will be outdated, any ideas on what to do with 50 million old Razrs are greatly appreciated…
