Benq Siemens announced today that you can bid on a pair of Brazil’s superstar Ronaldos football boots on the famous auction site - eBay.

Benq Siemens are the official sponsors of Real Madrid and have launched the auction to coincide with the launch of the new football season. Ronaldo who recently became the all-time top-scorer in World Cup history has donated this pair of used (worn) boots, so this is a chance to get a one of a kind pair that will never be available in any stores.
All proceeds from these signed football boots will be going to UNICEF Germany, so spend away, without the guilt.

Seems slightly odd timing considering this speculation

We have been getting a lot of requests for a comparison between the Samsung D900 vs Samsung E900
So here you go:
When you compare the D900 and E900 they are similar in many ways, including their styling and functionality. Both devices share an 80 MB internal memory, MicroSD, Mobile printing, Bluetooth, TV-output, Video calls and weigh 95g (including the battery)
The main difference lies in the quality of the internal features, such as; the camera, network capability and thickness. The D900 is the world’s slimmest slider phone, whereas the E900 has a unique glass like display.
Camera
D900: 3 megapixel
E900: 2 megapixel
Networks
D900: Quad Band
E900: Tri Band
Size
D900: 103mm x 51mm x 12.9mm
E900: 93mm x 45mm x 16.5mm
In our eyes it’s pretty simple really. The D900 has a better camera, network capability and is much thinner (its slightly bigger - but both are small phones anyway). Most of the other features are the same.
There’s no real reason to choose the E900 over the D900 (unless you are getting a much better deal of course)
Expect both to be very popular in 2006 - 2007.

Checkout the new Sony Ericsson Z610i, it features a mirror like design and an OLED display that is hidden under the cover. Some features include a 2 MP camera, music player with many supported files, and QCIF video record as well as streaming.
The phone is a geat device and clearly has something to say, the Sony Ericsson Z610i almost resembles the PEBL, but look out, this one is shiny.
This phone is available in several colors.

Sony Ericsson announced the launch today of the stylish Z610i 3G phone in the UK. This shimmering ‘mirror’ clamshell features an innovative front cover, with a display that appears to float when in use and disappear when not.
The Z610i is a 3G, 2 Megapixel camera phone with push email, a large 2.0 inch screen and is capable of making video calls, accessing the Internet and even reading RSS.

“The unique design of the Z610 is inspired by nature. We have applied a mirror finish and used a hidden display for the first time to achieve the feel of a calm ocean surfaceâ€
says Eiji Shintani, Art Director, Creative Design Centre, Sony Ericsson.
Available in 3 colours, this phone also has support for Sony’s Memory Stick Microâ„¢ (M2â„¢), meaning that the Z610i can be used as a portable music and storage device.
We think this is a beautiful phone, although not the highest spec, but then many people just dont need all the functionality and are happy to have a good looking device in their hands rather than an all singing, all dancing brick.

2.0â€, 262k colour TFD, (220×176 pixel) display
OLED, 128×36 pixel external display
2.0 Megapixel Camera with 2.5 x Digital Zoom

The Onyx looks so beautiful we could not help but feature it.

This phone will not actually be launched and is only a concept, but the Synaptics ClearPad technology and amazing Pilotfish interface will hopefully inspire new phones incorporating these features very soon.
The capacitive ClearPad technology may be available in phones even before 2007.
