CommunicAsia 2008, the communication technology and mobile phone oriented fair was kicked off by Singapore’s Minister for Information, Communication and the Arts, Dr Lee Boon Yang in Singapore today. The fair is a four day event and would windup on 20th June, 2008.

The 3G iPhone is out finally. Almost after 1 year of its launch, the much awaited successor to the most criticized yet loved phone is here. The phone comes with much awaited 3G networking hooking capability, which means better audio quality and faster data rates even when you are out of wi-fi coverage. Even the AT&T network has got spruced up to handle 3G.

iPhone 2.0 firmware update out at WWDC!!

So finally iPhone 3g is out at Apple WWDC 2008. It has been a helluva event even at its very first day, with the Apple Inc CEO Steve Jobs showing the much awaited 3G version of ever popular iPhone. Two major releases were made by Jobs. One was on the firmware update available for the current iPhone first generation and iPod Touch. Other was the launch of 3G iPhone.

3G iPhone to be announced at WWDC, San Francisco today.

It has been confirmed through sources that Steve Jobs would be announcing the much awaited 3G iPhone this Worldwide Developers Conference at San Francisco. The announcement comes nearly at the same time as the previous first generation iPhone was announced same time last year.

Sony Ericsson to buy HTC?

There have been some rumors recently that Swedish-Japanese giant in mobile communication is in talks with HTC, the renowned maker of windows mobile based phones. Though it seems more of a rumor than a true fact as HTC is quite making a lot of profits and Sony itself is not in a position currently to fund a hostile takes over of the company.
